Senior Oracle Developer – Plano, TX (Onsite, 11-Month Contract)

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of complex Oracle-based features, including technical design, development, testing, and migration.

Mentor and provide technical direction to development team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Oversee ETL model development and transformation of large datasets in a data warehousing environment.

Ensure system design aligns with strategic business outcomes and regulatory standards.
-
Collaborate in status meetings to monitor progress, address challenges, and proactively mitigate risks.
-
Act as a primary liaison for production activities, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
-
Optimize database performance, scalability, and reliability through best practices and automation.
-
Manage version control (Git/Bitbucket) and automate processes using Autosys.
-
Advocate for Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and modern deployment practices.

Required Skills and Experience
-
6+ years’ hands-on experience with Oracle relational databases, SQL, and PL/SQL.

Advanced expertise in data warehousing, including ETL development and large-scale data transformation.

Proficiency in TOAD, Unix Shell Scripting, Autosys, Jira, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Demonstrated ability in Master Data Management (MDM).

Strong analytical, debugging, and critical thinking skills.

Proven skills in risk identification and mitigation.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills
-
Background in Global HR, Finance, or Real Estate data domains.

Experience within Financial Services or Banking technology environments.

Proficiency with AI/ML integration (Co-Pilot, ChatGPT, Claude) and Big Data analytics tools.

Familiarity with data management, governance, and regulatory compliance.

Hands-on experience in Agile Scrum, DevOps, SAFe, or Disciplined Agile frameworks.
