Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements and data mapping documents into technical designs that deliver value.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain ETL code using Python, PySpark, DataStage, and SQL, adhering to best practices and SDLC standards.

• Design and execute comprehensive unit test plans; support regression and system testing.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing and production, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with technology teams on enterprise-level projects.

• Communicate project status, issues, and blockers clearly within the team.

• Identify opportunities for process and system improvements, championing best practices in data management.

• Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience in a related field, preferably computer science.

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on ETL development in a Data Warehouse environment.

• Proficient in Python/PySpark, DataStage, and SQL.

• Experience with cloud migration projects, ideally in Snowflake, AWS, or Azure.

• Solid understanding of enterprise data warehousing best practices and standards.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and incident response.

• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

• Preferred Skills

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.).

• Experience in financial services or banking environments.
