About the Role

Join a dynamic team as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer, working on high-impact financial applications in a collaborative, growth-focused environment. This hands-on position is ideal for developers eager to build innovative Oracle database solutions from the ground up, partner directly with business users, and stay at the forefront of technology.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy new Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and database objects.

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.

  • Optimize database performance through tuning, query optimization, and root-cause analysis.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents and deployment plans.

  • Collaborate closely with business users, project managers, architects, QA, and production support teams to deliver high-quality applications.

  • Support application releases, code promotions, and change management activities.

  • Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and lead technical design reviews.

  • Ensure solutions comply with security, audit, and data governance standards.

  • Communicate status, risks, and dependencies to management and stakeholders.

  • Required Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience.

  • Expertise in developing PL/SQL packages, procedures, and database solutions from scratch.

  • Strong understanding of Oracle Database (12c/19c or later), data modeling, and database design.

  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.

  • Experience supporting large-scale, enterprise-level applications.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable discussing technical concepts with non-technical users.

  • Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket.

  • Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to Microsoft Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools.

  • Experience in financial services or supporting financial applications.

  • Knowledge of both Oracle and .NET environments.

  • Experience with Oracle Database 19c.

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies.
