Oracle PL/SQL Developer – Charlotte, NC (Onsite)
About the Role
Join a dynamic team as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer, working on high-impact financial applications in a collaborative, growth-focused environment. Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy new Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and database objects.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.

Optimize database performance through tuning, query optimization, and root-cause analysis.

Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents and deployment plans.

Collaborate closely with business users, project managers, architects, QA, and production support teams to deliver high-quality applications.

Support application releases, code promotions, and change management activities.

Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and lead technical design reviews.
-
Ensure solutions comply with security, audit, and data governance standards.

Communicate status, risks, and dependencies to management and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience
-
7+ years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
-
Expertise in developing PL/SQL packages, procedures, and database solutions from scratch.

Strong understanding of Oracle Database (12c/19c or later), data modeling, and database design.

Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.

Experience supporting large-scale, enterprise-level applications.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable discussing technical concepts with non-technical users.

Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket.

Preferred Skills
-
Exposure to Microsoft Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools.

Experience in financial services or supporting financial applications.

Knowledge of both Oracle and .NET environments.

Experience with Oracle Database 19c.

Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies.
