Role Overview: The Data Science & Automation Intern at the Office of Dean of Communications and Alumni Affairs (DCAA) at IIIT-Delhi will play a crucial role in automating data collection, processing, and reporting workflows. By leveraging programming, data science tools, and AI-enabled technologies, you will enhance operational efficiency while ensuring data privacy. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop automated data collection and data-processing pipelines for the Communications Office. - Build scripts and tools to streamline data collation, organization, and reporting. - Assist in the integration of AI-powered solutions for communication and outreach-related workflows. - Analyze datasets and generate actionable insights to support communication strategies. - Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and ethical AI practices in all projects. - Document workflows, automation processes, and technical implementations. Qualification Required: - B.Tech. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (Preference will be given to candidates pursuing a Postgraduate degree). - Strong programming skills in Python or R. - Good understanding of data science concepts, tools, and frameworks. - Awareness of privacy, security, and ethical considerations associated with AI systems and data usage. - Ability to work independently and solve technical problems effectively. - Experience with machine learning, data analytics, automation tools, and AI applications. Duration & Stipend: - 3 Months internship with a stipend of 30,000 per month.
