Cloud Engineer – Azure

Key Responsibilities : ● Manage, monitor, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking components. ● Deploy and configure Azure services such as Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, App Services, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). ● Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure DevOps pipelines. ● Perform regular maintenance, patch management, and security hardening of cloud resources. ● Monitor system health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. ● Respond to incidents during the night shift, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure SLAs are met. ● Manage identity and access through Azure AD, ensuring compliance with MFA and RBAC policies. ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams for automation, performance optimization, and cost efficiency. ● Document system configurations, procedures, and operational runbooks. Required Skills & Competencies: ● Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS services. ● Hands-on experience with Azure CLI, PowerShell scripting, and Terraform. ● Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies (AKS/Docker). ● Proficiency in monitoring, alerting, and cost optimization within Azure environments. ● Familiarity with security controls, backup & disaster recovery configurations. ● Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. ● Essential for 24/7 operations, customer service, or managing different time zones. Preferred Qualifications: ● Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305). ● Experience supporting global operations or enterprise cloud environments. ● Exposure to multi-cloud tools or hybrid cloud integration is a plus.
