About the role
Key Responsibilities Design, build, and implement end-to-end performance testing frameworks and strategies using tools like JMeter and BlazeMeter. Define key performance indicators (KPIs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for large-scale distributed systems. Analyze application workload patterns to create realistic user load models capable of simulating 2,500+ concurrent users. Identify, diagnose, and resolve performance bottlenecks across the entire stack frontend, backend, API, database, and CDN. Optimize Cloudflare CDN configurations, caching rules, and security settings to maximize application speed and efficiency. Architect and fine-tune Azure-based solutions (App Services, AKS, Cosmos DB, Redis) for maximum scalability and resilience. Conduct performance tuning of Strapi CMS, including API response optimization and database query efficiency. Establish comprehensive monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Grafana, and Prometheus. Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous performance validation. Produce detailed performance test reports, analysis, and recommendations for stakeholders. Required Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of hands-on experience in performance engineering and testing, with at least 3+ years in architecture or lead roles. Strong, proven expertise with performance testing tools: JMeter is mandatory; BlazeMeter or similar cloud-based services is highly preferred. In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem (App Services, AKS, Cosmos DB, Redis Cache, Azure Functions). Hands-on experience optimizing applications using Cloudflare (CDN, Cache Rules, WAF). Experience with performance tuning of Strapi CMS or similar headless CMS platforms. Strong understanding of performance monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Azure Monitor. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across global teams. Preferred Skills Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker). Knowledge of setting up performance gates in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Exposure to serverless architectures and microservices performance patterns. Familiarity with Real User Monitoring (RUM) techniques.
