About the role
As an L3 Endpoint Subject Matter Expert (SME) Endpoint Architect specialized in SCCM, Intune, and MEM, your main responsibilities will include: - Taking end-to-end ownership, designing, and optimizing endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune (MEM). - Leading the transition towards a cloud-first endpoint management approach, emphasizing Intune as the primary tool. - Managing device configuration and application deployment, including troubleshooting application deployment failures. - Handling co-management conflicts between SCCM and Intune workloads, as well as resolving policy conflicts. - Managing SCCM logs and engaging with Microsoft/OEM support for detailed diagnostics when needed. - Developing and implementing application packaging strategies, including MSI, EXE, and Win32 apps. - Defining and enforcing policy and compliance management through Intune configuration profiles and compliance policies. - Monitoring and optimizing application deployment success rates, deployment failures, SCCM site performance, and Intune sync performance. - Providing technical leadership to L1 & L2 teams, reviewing incident resolution quality, and creating risk mitigation plans. You should have deep hands-on experience in SCCM architecture, troubleshooting, and performance tuning, as well as in Microsoft Intune for device management, compliance, and app deployment. Additionally, experience with Windows 10/11 management, Group Policy (GPO), Windows Autopilot, and Windows Update for Business (WUfB) is expected. A strong understanding of ITIL practices is required.
