Job description Container Services Engineer to join a high-impact team focused on transforming our infrastructure. You'll collaborate with elite architects and engineers to craft scalable, automated container platforms that support over 20,000 developers. Key Responsabilities Platform Architecture & Automation Design, implement, and operate automated container platforms for enterprise workloads. Ensure high availability, network policy enforcement, service routing, platform observability, and security integration. Development Enablement Build APIs and tools to deliver secure, scalable, and highly automated computing resources to developers. Integrate platforms with CI/CD pipelines and shared enterprise services. Cluster Engineering & Infrastructure Integration Create and manage Kubernetes clusters using GitOps methodologies with ArgoCD/Flux. Incorporate observability and security tools: Splunk, Dynatrace, Wiz, Venafi, Tigera Calico, Moogsoft, Tufin. Tooling & Scripting Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, Ansible, and Terraform. Champion infrastructure as code and automation practices across teams. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with cybersecurity, CI/CD, and infrastructure teams to deliver robust container services. Troubleshoot complex issues and lead remediation and root cause analysis. Create technical documentation and deliver training programs to evangelize container best practices. Contribute to governance frameworks and enablement strategies. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 5+ years in IT within enterprise environments 3+ years hands-on with Kubernetes and distributed computing environments Proven experience with public cloud Kubernetes (Azure AKS, AWS EKS, GCP GKE) Proficiency in Linux or Windows systems Design, implement and operate automated, container services platform with a focus on application concerns, including migrating workloads to containers, containerizing development workflows, high availability, networking policy, service routing, observability, integrating with shared enterprise services, integrating container platforms with automated continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines, and platform security Design and implement API’s and other tooling as required to enable consumption of containerized computing resources as a secure, reliable, and highly automated service consumable by business focused development resources. When necessary, participate in technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation efforts. Develop methodology and tooling as required in support of observability of applications and the platforms to support efforts such as capacity planning, workload placement and balancing, chargeback, etc. Drive initiatives across organization boundaries as required to ensure availability of underlying infrastructure, CI/CD tooling, and cybersecurity services as required in support of container platform service requirements. Creating and maintaining Kubernetes clusters components using gitops methodology using argocd/flux. Integrating observability, network, and security tools components such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Wiz, Venafi, Calico Tigera, Moogsoft, Tufin, etc.. Able to write and update automation scripts using shell, python , ansible , and terraform technologies. Additional responsibilities may include the development of comprehensive training, governance, and enablement programs designed to champion a declarative, ‘infrastructure as code’ and ‘automation first’ mindset. What you will need to have: Bachelor’s Degree or high school diploma/GED 5+ years It experience in an enterprise environment. Minimum of three years of experience building and maintaining Kubernetes cluster deployments with a preference for experience with vendor supported variants such as VMware PKS/TKGI, TKG , IBM/Redhat OpenShift(OCP) , AKS, EKS, and GKE Hands on experience deploying and supporting Kubernetes clusters on at least one IaaS provider (Azure, Amazon, GCP). Minimum of three years of experience building and supporting distributed computing environments. Robust proficiency in Linux and/or Windows systems. Bluefin Java - 17 and above - Must have Angular UI - Node JS - Must have Springboot framework - Must have Kubernetes / Containers / CRDs / Network Policy - Must have Shell script - Must have CI CD concepts - Must have Gitlab CI Pipeline knowledge- Highly recommended Golang with focus on developing Kubernetes CRD - Nice to have Tanzu Application Service- Nice to have Splunk Querying - Nice to have FMK Shell script - Must have Gitlab CI - Must have Python - Nice to have Docker file understanding- Must have Helm charts familiarity- Must have Linux (esp RHEL) OS / package management / security experience - highly recommended Docker image management and/or hardening experience - highly recommended
