As an experienced SDET, you will play a crucial role in designing, architecting, and enhancing scalable test automation frameworks for both UI and API layers. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, architecting, and enhancing scalable, maintainable test automation frameworks from scratch for both UI and API layers. - Authoring, reviewing, and maintaining highly reliable automation scripts using Selenium with Java or Python. - Architecting and executing comprehensive API automation suites ensuring high test coverage, performance, and data validation across microservices. - Integrating automated test suites into continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support a seamless DevOps lifecycle. - Collaborating with developers, product managers, and QA peers to identify automation candidates, define test strategies, and minimize manual testing overhead. - Debugging complex automation failures, isolating root causes, logging detailed defects, and working closely with engineering teams to ensure swift resolution. - Establishing coding standards for automation scripts, conducting code reviews for test code, and mentoring junior QA engineers. Your technical qualifications should include: - 6+ years of solid experience working as an SDET with a primary focus on automation engineering. - Advanced proficiency in Java or Python for writing clean, reusable, object-oriented code. - Extensive hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver. Experience with Page Object Model (POM) or BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Behave) is highly preferred. - Strong expertise in automating RESTful APIs using tools/libraries such as RestAssured, Postman, Requests (Python), or similar frameworks. - Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases for test data validation and experience with version control systems like Git. - Familiarity with build tools (Maven, Gradle) and CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions).
