Position- New Product Development (NPD) Engineer Department-New Product Development (NPD) Location-Halol, Gujarat Employment Type-Full-Time Experience-3–5 Years Industry-Automotive Manufacturing / Auto Components About the Role Infinito Auto Industries LLP is looking for a motivated and technically skilled NPD Engineer to join our New Product Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end product development activities, from concept and design to validation and production readiness, while ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Develop new products such as Leaf Springs, Chassis Components, and Fabricated Parts. Manage complete New Product Development (NPD) activities from concept to production. Prepare and review engineering drawings using CAD software. Coordinate prototype development, testing, validation, and PPAP activities. Define tooling requirements and manufacturing processes. Work closely with customers, production, quality, and design teams throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure timely execution of projects within the planned budget and schedule. Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to new product development. Support continuous improvement initiatives for product design and manufacturing processes. Required Skills Strong knowledge of New Product Development (NPD) processes. Experience in PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, and Root Cause Analysis. Hands-on experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or similar). Understanding of tooling development and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of fabricated components, sheet metal, and press parts. Familiarity with quality systems and automotive standards. Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Educational Qualification B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering. M.E./M.Tech will be an added advantage. Preferred Experience 3–5 years of experience in Automotive Manufacturing, New Product Development, Process Engineering, or Quality Engineering. Experience in Leaf Spring, Chassis Components, or Steel Fabricated Parts will be preferred.
