About the role
Job Summary: Infios is looking for a Data Science Architect to design and deliver scalable analytics, insights, and dashboarding capabilities for our Order Management System (OMS) platform. This role focuses on building data models, analytics pipelines, and operational intelligence that provide visibility into order lifecycle, fulfillment performance, inventory availability, and operational exceptions. The ideal candidate combines strong expertise in data architecture, analytics, and business intelligence, with a deep understanding of Order Management Systems (OMS). What a Day in the Life Looks Like: Architect analytics solutions that provide end-to-end visibility into the OMS order lifecycle. Design scalable data models and semantic layers for OMS entities such as orders, inventory, fulfillment nodes, shipments, and exceptions. Design and optimize data pipelines that capture operational events and transform them into analytical datasets. Work with event-driven data ingestion pipelines leveraging MongoDB Change Streams, Kafka, and cloud ETL frameworks. Define and optimize data transformations and analytics workflows using AWS Glue and Redshift. Build operational dashboards and insights for order processing, fulfillment performance, inventory availability, and SLA adherence. Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to translate business questions into dashboards, metrics, and analytical insights. Enable self-service analytics by defining consistent metrics, governance standards, and reusable data models. Identify patterns, anomalies, and operational bottlenecks in OMS data to drive data-driven operational improvements. Champion AI-augmented engineering practices, leveraging tools such as Claude Code, Kiro, and similar AI development assistants to improve developer productivity, accelerate analytics development, and enforce high-quality engineering standards. What You Bring to the Team: 8+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, data science, or analytics architecture. Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling for analytical systems. Experience designing data pipelines for operational analytics. Experience working with streaming or event-driven data architectures. Experience with cloud data platforms and modern data warehouses. Experience building dashboards using Power BI or similar BI platforms. Preferred Qualifications Experience with MongoDB Change Streams. Experience with Kafka or other event streaming platforms. Experience with AWS Glue or similar ETL frameworks. Experience with Amazon Redshift or modern analytical warehouses. Experience with Power BI or equivalent BI tools. Experience with OMS, supply chain, retail, or e-commerce platforms. Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Kiro, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to accelerate data engineering, analytics, or software development workflows. Impact This role will enable the OMS platform to deliver real-time operational intelligence, helping organizations improve fulfillment efficiency, detect operational issues earlier, optimize inventory utilization, and deliver better customer experiences.
