About the role
As a Senior RPA Developer specializing in Blue Prism, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Blue Prism automation solutions. - Identifying new process opportunities and accurately analyzing and estimating new processes, quickly assessing feasibility. - Analyzing, understanding, and documenting business processes in detail as required. - Identifying and communicating technical infrastructure requirements. - Designing Blue Prism process solutions following standard design principles and conventions. - Configuring new Blue Prism processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well-structured, maintainable, and easy to understand. - Creating and maintaining Process Design Document (PDD) and Solution Design Document (SDD). - Supporting existing processes and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control process. - Translating business requirements into technical solutions. - Performing unit testing, UAT support, and production issue resolution. - Monitoring bot performance and optimizing for stability, scalability, and performance. - Ensuring compliance with RPA standards, security policies, and coding best practices. Your primary skills should include: - Strong hands-on experience in Blue Prism development. - Expertise in Process Studio & Object Studio, Business Objects development and reuse, Work Queues, Exception handling, and Control Room operations. - Strong experience in Surface Automation, Application Modeller, and Environment variables & Credential Manager. - End-to-End RPA Lifecycle Experience. Your secondary skills can include experience with UiPath or Microsoft Power Automate, exposure to multiple RPA tools, and technical skills such as SQL, APIs & Web Services, JSON / XML handling, and automation of Excel, PDF, Email & file-based processes. In addition, you should have soft skills like strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and stakeholder management, the ability to work independently and in Agile teams, and experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers. Nice to have qualifications for this role include Blue Prism Certifications as a Developer or Professional Developer, experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, and exposure to OCR tools and AI/ML integrations.
