Strong backend or systems software engineering experience Good programming skills in Go Familiarity with observability concepts such as metrics, telemetry pipelines, schema-driven development, and data export Experience with distributed systems, APIs, and service-to-service communication such as gRPC Understanding of how software behaves on real systems and storage workloads, especially in environments constrained by CPU, memory, disk I/O, and networking. Working knowledge of systems-performance fundamentals such as cache behavior, typical bottlenecks, latency basics, TCP/networking fundamentals, and throughput concepts such as IOPS and bandwidth.
