About the role
What will your role look like : - Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL objects including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers. - Diagnose and resolve complex production issues through detailed application log analysis and SQL performance tuning. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth functioning of production systems and minimize downtime. - Participate in Incident, Problem, and Change Management activities following ITIL best practices. - Drive root cause analysis and ensure long-term fixes for recurring issues. - Provide support during EST timezone and ensure timely response to business-critical escalations. Good-to-have skills : - Exposure to Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation of database tasks. - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Experience working with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or similar). - Knowledge of data migration or ETL tools. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. .
