Senior Business Intelligence Developer

Purpose of the Position : The Power Apps Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps. This role aims to enhance business processes by creating user-friendly, efficient, and scalable applications that integrate seamlessly with various data sources. The engineer will collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet organizational needs. Location: Pune ,Bangalore, Nagpur and Chennai Type of Employment : FTE Key Result Areas and Activities: 1. Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps to meet business requirements. 2. Data Integration: Connect Power Apps to various data sources, including SharePoint, SQL Server, and other cloud services, ensuring seamless data flow and integration. 3. User Experience Design: Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces, ensuring a positive user experience and high adoption rates. 4. Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Power Apps solutions, troubleshooting issues, and implementing updates as needed. 5. Collaboration and Training: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide training and documentation to end-users and other team members Essential Skills: 1. Proficiency in Power Apps Studio: Expertise in designing and developing applications using Power Apps Studio. 2. Data Integration: Strong ability to connect Power Apps to various data sources such as SharePoint, SQL Server, and other cloud services. 3. User Interface Design: Experience in creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces. 4. Power Automate: Knowledge of integrating Power Apps with Power Automate to automate workflows and processes. 5. Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and optimize applications. 6. Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with stakeholders and other team members Desirable Skills 1. Experience with Common Data Service (CDS)/Dataverse: Familiarity with using CDS/Dataverse for scalable and secure data management. 2. Knowledge of Power BI: Ability to integrate Power Apps with Power BI for enhanced data visualization and reporting. 3. Programming Skills: Basic understanding of programming languages such as JavaScript or C# for custom development. 4. Project Management: Experience in managing projects and delivering solutions within deadlines Qualifications : Overall work experience of more than 5 years with minimum of 4-5 years experience on Power Apps Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies Technical certifications that attribute to continuous learning aspirations Qualities : Can influence and implement change; demonstrates confidence, strength of conviction and sound decisions. Believes in head-on dealing with a problem; approaches in logical and systematic manner; is persistent and patient; can independently tackle the problem, is not over-critical of the factors that led to a problem and is practical about it; follow up with developers on related issues.
