Backend Developer

As a JavaScript and TypeScript developer, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with a robust understanding of JavaScript ES6+ features. You should also be familiar with TypeScript for type-protected coding. - Core Node.js Concepts: You should have knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture. Additionally, you should be capable of handling the Node.js runtime, including threads and memory management. - API Development: Your responsibilities will include building RESTful and GraphQL APIs. You should also have familiarity with tools like Postman or Swagger for API documentation and testing. - Frameworks and Libraries: Experience with frameworks like Express.js, NestJS, or HapiJS is required for this role. - Database Management: You should have knowledge of NoSQL databases such as ElasticSearch, DynamoDB, Neo4J, as well as experience with relational databases like MySQL. Writing optimized queries and understanding ORMs like Sequelize is essential. - Version Control: Proficiency with Git and platforms like GitHub/GitLab is expected. - Error Handling and Debugging: You should be adept at using debugging tools like Node Inspector, Chrome DevTools, and implementing structured error handling patterns. - Testing and Quality Assurance: Your responsibilities will include unit testing with tools like Mocha, Chai, Jest, and integration testing frameworks like Supertest. - Security Best Practices: You must follow secure coding practices to prevent vulnerabilities like SQL injection, XSS, CSRF.
