Networking Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Hardware Networking Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our organization's hardware networking systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of network architecture and hardware components, enabling them to troubleshoot issues effectively and optimize network performance. This role is critical in ensuring reliable connectivity and supporting our business operations through robust hardware solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, install, configure, and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot hardware-related issues to ensure high availability and reliability. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network hardware with existing systems and software. Conduct regular assessments and upgrades of network hardware to meet evolving business needs. Provide technical support and training to staff regarding hardware networking solutions. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance network performance and security. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in hardware networking engineering or a similar role. Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, etc.) and hardware components. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical staff.
