The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable backend applications, APIs, database management, and supporting enterprise-grade web applications/projects. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services Work extensively with PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and query writing Develop scalable and secure application modules Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance Collaborate with frontend developers, project managers, and QA teams Participate in requirement analysis and technical discussions Ensure code quality, documentation, and deployment support Required Skills Strong hands-on experience in Python development Good experience with PostgreSQL Database Experience with frameworks such as Django / Flask / FastAPI Strong understanding of REST APIs and JSON Knowledge of SQL queries, joins, indexing, stored procedures, and performance tuning Familiarity with Git/version control systems Understanding of deployment environments and Linux servers Basic understanding of cloud platforms/AWS is a plus Preferred Skills Experience working on enterprise/government Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines Experience with Redis, Celery, or microservices architecture Understanding of security best practices
