About the role
As a Data Architect specializing in Core Data Architecture & Modeling, you will be responsible for: - Leading the design and implementation of enterprise-grade data models with a strong focus on Kimball dimensional modeling, Star schemas, and Fact & Dimension tables - Developing and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical data models that are in line with business and analytics requirements - Collaborating with Data Analysts, Business Stakeholders, and Data Governance teams to ensure the accuracy and compliance of the models - Architecting and optimizing end-to-end data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and integration - Translating complex business and analytics requirements into scalable data architecture solutions - Supporting real-time and historical analytics use cases across industrial and CPG domains Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong expertise in Kimball Dimensional Modeling, Star Schema, and Fact & Dimension Tables - Hands-on experience with Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Type 1, 2, 3) and Data Warehouse Design - Knowledge of Data Vault Modeling is a plus - Proficiency in Cloud & Data Engineering Technologies such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake / ADLS - Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation and querying - Experience building and managing ETL/ELT pipelines - Strong understanding of ISA-95, Industry 4.0, and industrial maintenance strategies - Experience working with manufacturing, industrial, or CPG data, SAP, production and operations data, and time-series data In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the data architecture landscape and ensuring that the data models are aligned with the business and analytics needs, while also optimizing data pipelines for efficient data processing and integration.
