About the role
About the roleWe are seeking an Informatica Administrator with a strong UNIX/Linux background to install, configure, and manage PowerCenter/BDM environments. The role involves supporting code deployments, monitoring workflows, and providing production support while collaborating with ETL developers, database, and infrastructure teams.Key responsibilitiesInstall, configure and administer Informatica PowerCenter and BDM environments at basic level.Manage domains, repositories, integration services and application services across Dev, QA and Production.Monitor workflows, sessions and logs to ensure successful job execution.Troubleshoot ETL performance issues, failures and systemrelated problems.Perform routine maintenance, patching, upgrades and security role management.Execute UNIX/Linux system administration tasks supporting Informatica platforms.Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation, monitoring and batch processing.Schedule and monitor jobs using cron, Autosys or ControlM.Analyze system logs, debug issues and provide incident resolution.Maintain documentation of configurations, processes and troubleshooting steps.Required profileHandson experience in Informatica Administration (PowerCenter/BDM).Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments.Proficiency in shell scripting.Understanding of ETL and datawarehousing concepts.Experience with job scheduling tools such as Autosys, ControlM or cron.Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot issues effectively.Required skillsInformatica PowerCenterInformatica BDMUNIX/Linux system administrationShell scriptingAutosysControlMCronETL conceptsData warehousing About the roleWe are seeking an Informatica Administrator with a strong UNIX/Linux background to install, configure, and manage PowerCenter/BDM environments.
