About the role
As a Java Developer at our company, you will be responsible for developing Microservice based APIs using Java 8 & above along with Spring, Spring Boot, REST Services, and JPA. You should have a good understanding of Java Best practices, Microservice Architecture & Design Patterns, API Development, and DevOps Tools. Your primary skills should include expertise in databases like Oracle, MongoDB, ReactJS, REST, OOP, and prototypal inheritance. You should also be experienced in building Single Page Applications with JavaScript and using Web UI Debugging tools like firebug, chrome dev tools, and windows script debugger. Your secondary skills will involve working with Distributed Event streaming platforms like Kafka, and being proficient in DevOps and API monitoring Tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins (CI/CD), Maven, Datadog, Prometheus, and Splunk. Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, cloud solutions like Azure / AWS, and Hibernate will be considered an added advantage. Additionally, you should possess knowledge in code review, automated unit / integration testing, and code review tools like Check Style, Find Bugs, SonarQube, Sonar Lint, Jacoco, Junit, and Mockito. Experience in Development using Agile / Scrum methodology is also desired.
