Senior Ansible Engineer

Educational Requirements Bachelor of Engineering,Bachelor Of Technology Service Line Cloud Infrastructure Services Responsibilities Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules for infrastructure automation Automate provisioning, configuration management, patching, and deployment activities Work with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) / Tower for job orchestration Integrate Ansible with tools like ServiceNow, Splunk, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines Design reusable and scalable automation frameworks Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization of automation workflows Ensure best practices such as idempotency, error handling, tagging, and version control Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities Create documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer sessions Additional Responsibilities: Strong hands-on experience with Ansible Good knowledge of Linux/Unix administration Experience with YAML, Jinja2 templating, and Git Understanding of REST APIs and integrations Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) Basic scripting knowledge (Python/Bash/PowerShell) Technical and Professional Requirements: Ansible Collections AWX / Ansible Tower (AAP) CI/CD Tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) Vault Tools (Ansible Vault, HashiCorp Vault) Cloud Platform Modules Automate AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, Kubernetes resources.
