About the role
Design & Technical Leadership Spearhead the processing of survey data and define criteria for tower spotting in domestic tenders and projects Prepare and submit EPC-submitted detail and check surveys; finalize tower locations and types including extensions using PLS-CADD Conduct tower integrity checks including wind span, weight span, phase sequence, and transposition; utilize Optimum for domestic spotting Generate tower schedules and route alignments using Google Earth and PLS-CADD to support accurate BOQ generation Create and review design packages including route alignment, LiDAR and drone data classification, vegetation reports, and structure usage profiles Prepare Crossings Proposals of Powerline, Railways, Highways, River and Forest for submission to the clients. Project Optimization & Profitability Lead post-bid design optimization by recalibrating tower quantities and alignments to improve project margins before EPC partner finalization Develop transmission line profiles and technical specifications using AutoCAD, Global Mapper, Toposheets, and relevant design tools Manage crossing proposals, liaising with stakeholders and clients for validation and approval of power line intersections Operational Oversight & Documentation Oversee O&M workstreams and generate As-Built documentation to support long-term infrastructure reliability Validate technical design packages for ongoing trans mission line maintenance and upgrades
