Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

As a QA Automation Engineer at this company, your role involves utilizing your expertise in Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and Playwright to validate application functionality. Your role requires strong functional automation skills across web, mobile, and APIs, designing and implementing automated tests across UI, mobile applications, and backend services. Key Responsibilities: - Strong experience using Java-based automation frameworks and modern test automation tools - Hands-on experience testing REST and SOAP services using industry-standard API testing tools - Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and communicate test status effectively - Define test approaches, create test plans, and design comprehensive test scenarios - Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights through reports - Design and implement automated tests across UI, mobile applications, and backend services - Validate data flows, messaging systems, and integrations in cloud-native environments Qualifications Required: - At least 5+ years of experience building test strategy and test design - Proven experience in test execution analysis & reporting - Good hands-on experience with Java and test automation with Selenium - Experience in UI automation frameworks Selenium-Java - Hands-on testing experience in React-based frameworks and Spring (Java: Backend) - Deep understanding of databases and modern cloud middlewares including Kafka This company expects you to have a strong technical background with hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright, Ready API, SOAPUI, and Postman.
