About the role

As a Sr. Principal, Quality Engineering and AI Automation Architect at Ingram Micro, you will play a crucial role in leading the transformation of testing approaches to intelligent, predictive, and self-evolving quality engineering. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing AI-first automation strategies to enable autonomous testing ecosystems and embedding AI-driven quality intelligence into CI/CD and DevOps pipelines. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement AI-driven agents to optimize the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) - Architect intelligent automation solutions to reduce manual effort in test design, execution, and analysis - Build specialized AI agents such as quality analyzers, test script generators, and regression optimization engines - Lead the architecture of AI-enabled test automation frameworks for scalability and reusability - Develop advanced test infrastructure including test harnesses and mock services - Drive AI infusion into quality engineering practices within Agile/DevOps environments - Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to evaluate, customize, and integrate AI and automation tools - Champion Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices - Provide oversight on test environments, infrastructure, and release automation - Mentor teams on AI-driven quality engineering practices and promote continuous learning Qualifications Required: - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent - Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing AI-driven test automation architectures - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript - Experience with automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, and REST Assured - Strong exposure to cloud-native architectures and services (Azure, AWS, GCP) - Ability to implement data-driven testing strategies using analytics and historical defect patterns - Understanding of machine learning concepts and MLOps practices - Experience in testing AI/ML systems and designing observability-driven quality frameworks At Ingram Micro, you will have the opportunity to shape the future through technology while being part of a welcoming and growth-oriented environment.
