Senior Java Software Engineer

As a Senior Java Developer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Your role will involve building and enhancing Microservices-based architectures, developing secure RESTful APIs, and writing clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices. You will collaborate closely with product, QA, and DevOps teams, participate in technical design discussions, contribute to architectural decisions, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and resolve production issues, perform code reviews, promote engineering best practices, optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability, and actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. - Build and enhance Microservices-based architectures. - Develop secure and high-performance RESTful APIs. - Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices. - Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring application stability. - Perform code reviews and promote engineering best practices. - Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. - Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java development. - Strong expertise in Core Java, Collections, Multithreading, and Object-Oriented Programming. - Extensive experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework. - Solid experience in designing and developing Microservices. - Strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems. - Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, or similar. - Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. - Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments. - Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines. - Good understanding of software design patterns and development best practices. Preferred Skills: - Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms. - Exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms. - Experience with monitoring and logging tools. - Knowledge of security best practices for cloud-native applications. - Exposure to event-driven architecture.
