As a Software Developer using Mendix low-code platform, your role involves designing, developing, and implementing applications with the following key responsibilities: - Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translating them into technical specifications. - Integrating Mendix applications with external systems and APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP, databases). - Creating reusable components and modules for scalability and efficiency. - Conducting unit and integration testing, and supporting UAT processes. - Optimizing applications for performance and usability. - Troubleshooting, debugging, and maintaining existing applications. - Following agile methodologies and participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. - Staying current with Mendix updates and low-code best practices. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Experience in developing with the Mendix platform. - A solid understanding of low-code development principles. - Experience with Mendix Studio and Studio Pro. - Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL). - Experience with version control tools like Git. - Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
