Senior Software Engineer

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Node.js and JavaScript. Additionally, you will be tasked with building and managing RESTful APIs for application features and third-party integrations. It will be your duty to design and optimize database schemas and queries using any relational or NoSQL database, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. You will also need to implement authentication, authorization, and data security best practices. Furthermore, you are expected to write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following coding standards, perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of applications, collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth releases, participate in code reviews, and follow Agile development processes. Qualifications required for this role include strong experience in Node.js and JavaScript development, hands-on experience with REST API development using frameworks like Nest.JS or Express.js, experience with any database such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, understanding of MVC or service-based architecture, familiarity with authentication methods like JWT, OAuth, etc., knowledge of version control systems like Git, basic understanding of cloud deployment and CI/CD, and good problem-solving and communication skills.
