About the role
As the Product Head Enterprise Sales, you will play a critical role in transforming the organization's in-house ERP platform into a scalable, market-ready product. Your primary focus will be on driving business growth and market expansion through strategic product development, commercialization, and customer acquisition efforts. Here's what you can expect in this role: Role & Responsibilities: - Product Strategy & Development: - Define the product vision and roadmap to position the in-house ERP system as a scalable commercial product. - Identify market opportunities, target segments, and key use cases for ERP adoption. - Drive product strategy, positioning, pricing, and go-to-market initiatives in collaboration with leadership and sales teams. - Enhance product features across modules such as HR, Finance, Operations, Travel, and Purchases to meet client needs. - Ensure the ERP platform is scalable, secure, supports integrations, configurable workflows, and multi-tenant architecture. - Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, including development, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement. - Gather customer feedback and usage insights to drive product enhancements and innovation. - Maintain the right balance between standardization and client-specific configurability. - Ensure compliance with data security standards and industry best practices. - Business Development & Sales: - Drive business growth through new client acquisition and market expansion for the ERP product. - Support enterprise sales through solutioning, product demonstrations, proposals, and deal closures. - Develop and execute go-to-market plans, pricing models, and product positioning strategies. - Identify strategic partnerships and new business opportunities to support product commercialization. - Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Collaborate with engineering, implementation, and customer success teams for seamless product rollout. - Build and manage a high-performing product and implementation team. - Define and track key metrics such as adoption, customer satisfaction, retention, revenue growth, and product performance. Preferred Candidate Profile: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering/technology/MBA. - 15+ years of experience in ERP/Product Development roles. - Experience in launching or scaling enterprise software products. - ERP product lifecycle management. - SaaS/product commercialization strategy. - Cross-functional leadership. - Client requirement analysis and solutioning. - Product scalability and architecture understanding. - Go-to-market strategy and execution. - Business development and sales enablement exposure. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Strong experience in ERP product development or implementation. - Understanding of enterprise functions such as HR, Finance, Operations, and Procurement. - Product commercialization and SaaS business model knowledge. - Experience in business development and product-led growth initiatives. - Strong stakeholder management, client-facing, and solutioning skills. - Technical understanding of scalable platforms and integrations. - Strategic thinking with a focus on market expansion and growth.
