About the role
As an Oracle EPM Consultant specializing in Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS) and Planning (EPBCS/PBCS), your role involves supporting the delivery of end-to-end Oracle Cloud EPM implementations. You will utilize your strong functional and techno-functional expertise to design, configure, and optimize financial consolidation and planning solutions aligned with business objectives and Oracle best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in finance and business workshops to gather functional and technical requirements. - Translate business requirements into FCCS and Planning solution designs aligned with Oracle Cloud EPM capabilities. - Define application structure, including chart of accounts, entities, hierarchies, and metadata frameworks. - Prepare functional design documents (FDDs), process flows, and configuration specifications. - Configure and support Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS) application components. - Develop and test business rules, calculations, and system validations. - Configure Planning applications to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning processes. - Support design and implementation of data integrations between ERP systems and EPM applications. - Support unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT). - Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including configuration guides, test scripts, and user manuals. - Work closely with finance teams, IT, and project stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud EPM implementations. - Strong experience in FCCS (consolidation, eliminations, translation, journals) and EPBCS/PBCS (planning, budgeting, forecasting, calculations). - Proven experience in application build, configuration, and testing. - Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles. - Experience with Smart View, forms, dashboards, and calculation manager.
