Methods Engineers

Roles Responsibilities: To assist and guide Methods Engineers for developing the components/ sub assemblies /total systems Release / Approval of the drawings / schema/BOM and change management ( Introduction change document) NPD Follow-up the development parts with planning / purchase Assembly check as per the design Problem solving Cost calculation ( as assigned) Completion of the assigned targets within the specified time limit Knowledge / Skills Programing knowledge in OKUMA Turn-Mill Center Programing knowledge in CNC Turning/ VMC ( Not Mandatory) Tooling / cutting tool selection design Jigs Fixture design Thorough knowledge in 3D Modelling software ( Preferably in Solidworks /PRO E /Unigraphics)Auto CAD Proficiency in MS Office Proficiency in GD T Thorough understanding drawings ( as per ISO standards) Thorough knowledge in Manufacturing processes and Engineering calculations To assist and guide a team of 10 Methods / Design engineers Knowledge in ERP software ( Preferably not mandatory) Coordination and cooperation with Group / related NPD group and Inter company Teams)
