Senior Product & Engineering ManagerLocation: Jaipur Full-time Work from Office Experience: 710 years Schedule: 5.5 days per week (second and fourth Saturdays off )Salary : Upto 20 LPA About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Senior Product & Engineering Manager to own technology products from requirement discovery through architecture, development, deployment and continuous improvement. The role combines product ownership, engineering leadership, project management and technical problem-solving. You will initially lead a team of 23 engineers, remain closely involved in architecture and critical technical decisions, and help build the engineering team as the product portfolio expands. You will work with senior management, technology leadership and international stakeholders on complex products connected with re-commerce and operational automation. Many problems may be unique, ambiguous or without an established implementation playbook. What Youll Do Understand business and operational requirements and convert them into product specifications, architecture, roadmaps and delivery plans. Own product and project execution across prioritisation, development, testing, deployment and production support. Design scalable, secure, maintainable and cost-effective web, backend, mobile and cloud architectures. Lead backend and full-stack engineering decisions involving APIs, databases, integrations, frontend applications and infrastructure. Remain hands-on through architecture reviews, code reviews, prototypes, critical development, debugging and performance analysis. Use large language models and AI-assisted development tools effectively for coding, debugging, research, documentation, testing, prototyping and faster delivery. Establish appropriate practices for reviewing, validating and securely using AI generated code and technical output. Lead, mentor and manage engineers, remove technical blockers and improve engineering standards and team capability. Establish practical standards for code quality, security, testing, documentation, deployment, monitoring and production reliability.What Were Looking For :710 years of hands-on software product development experience, including engineering leadership or technical project ownership. Strong depth in backend and full-stack product engineering. Strong understanding of system architecture, data modelling, APIs, integrations, authentication and application security. Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystems. Strong working experience with Node.js-based backend technologies. Experience with React or similar modern frontend frameworks. Strong knowledge of SQL, database design, query optimisation and data consistency; exposure to NoSQL is beneficial. Experience building, deploying and supporting cloud-based production applications. Working understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, containers, logging, monitoring and production reliability. Strong debugging and root-cause analysis capability across applications, APIs, databases and infrastructure. Practical proficiency with leading large language models and AI coding tools, with the ability to use them effectively without compromising code quality, security or engineering judgement. Ability to work with incomplete or evolving requirements and convert operational problems into working technology products. Strong product thinking, project planning, prioritisation, stakeholder communication and delivery ownership.Nice to Have: Flutter or other cross-platform mobile development experience. Working knowledge of Android and iOS application architecture; native iOS coding is not required. Experience with AWS or another major cloud platform. Experience with event-driven systems, third-party integrations and high-availability applications. .
