Senior Mechanical Engineer

Role Overview: You will be joining Integerspin Pvt. Ltd., an IIT Roparincubated and DPIIT-recognized clean tech manufacturing company specializing in advanced IoT- and green vacuum technologybased waste management solutions. As a full-time, on-site Senior Mechanical Engineer based in Ghaziabad, your main responsibility will be to lead the mechanical design and development of waste management equipment, including vacuum systems, sweeping machines, tippers, and sanitation solutions. Your daily tasks will include conceptual and detailed machine design, preparing and reviewing 3D models and engineering drawings, performing calculations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability. You will also guide R&D activities, prototyping, testing, and validation, troubleshoot issues in existing products, and implement design improvements. Additionally, you will support project planning, resource coordination, documentation, and mentor junior engineering team members. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the mechanical design and development of waste management equipment such as vacuum systems, sweeping machines, tippers, and sanitation solutions. - Conceptualize and create detailed machine designs, prepare and review 3D models and engineering drawings. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electronics, production, quality, and supply chain) to ensure manufacturability and reliability. - Guide R&D activities, prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical products. - Troubleshoot issues in existing products and implement design improvements. - Support project planning, resource coordination, documentation, and mentor junior engineering team members. Qualifications: - Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with experience in mechanical systems, mechanisms, and component selection for industrial or automotive-type equipment. - Proficiency in Machine Design, including strength calculations, material selection, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA). - Hands-on expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling, assemblies, and detailed drawings. - Experience in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and cross-functional coordination to deliver projects on time and within scope. - Proven background in Research and Development (R&D), including prototyping, testing, data-driven design improvements, and innovation in mechanical products. - Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline; a masters degree is an advantage. - Experience in heavy machinery, automotive, off-highway equipment, or clean tech manufacturing is highly desirable. - Knowledge of relevant standards and safety regulations, and familiarity with FEA/CAE tools is a plus. - Ability to work on-site in Ghaziabad, collaborate effectively with shop-floor teams, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
