As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and reliable testing coverage across various software products and applications. Your key responsibilities will include: - Test Automation Development: Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java. - Test Framework Development: Designing, implementing, and enhancing test automation frameworks to support scalability and maintainability of automated test suites. - Test Planning and Execution: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop test plans and execute automated tests within scheduled timelines. - Defect Management: Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using defect tracking tools, and working closely with development teams for timely issue resolution. - Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable automated regression testing and facilitate rapid software releases. - Test Reporting and Documentation: Generating comprehensive test reports and documentation to communicate test results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. - Test Environment Setup: Configuring and maintaining test environments, including virtual machines and test data repositories, to support automated testing activities. - Quality Assurance Best Practices: Staying updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in test automation to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience in automation testing with Selenium WebDriver and Java. - Strong programming skills in Java, including object-oriented design principles and design patterns. - Good knowledge in Spring and Spring boot framework. - Good knowledge in UI/UX technologies such as Angular, HTML, and CSS. - Proficiency in test automation frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit. - Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle). - Familiarity with continuous integration tools like Jenkins. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. - Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. - ISTQB or similar certification in software testing is a plus.
