Key Responsibilities Migration Strategy & Planning - Define and document end-to-end data migration approaches, methodologies, and timelines. - Assess source and target systems, identifying gaps, risks, and dependencies. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure migration aligns with organizational goals. Functional Execution - Domain expertise on banking application. Technical Execution - Lead the design and development of migration scripts - Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency during migration. - Optimize performance of bulk data loads (e.g., SQL*Loader, external tables, ETL tools). Leadership & Collaboration - Guide and mentor a team of developers and leads. - Coordinate with application owners, DBAs, and infrastructure teams. - Act as the primary technical point of contact for migration-related issues. Quality Assurance - Establish validation frameworks for migrated data. - Implement error handling, logging, and rollback strategies. - Conduct post-migration audits and performance checks. Risk Management - Identify potential migration risks and develop mitigation plans. - Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards. Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 12+ years of experience in data migration, ETL, or database engineering. - Strong expertise in **Oracle and PostgreSQL - Hands-on experience Channel migration (Corporate entitlement, User entitlements, Beneficiary, Complex workflow, Transaction history). - Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks. - Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.
