Date posted: 5/06/2026 Job Number: 228046 Job Category: Information Technology - Database Administrator Location: Princeton, TX | Fairfax, VA; Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job Description: We're seeking skilled Database Administrator to design, administer, secure, migrate, tune, and support enterprise databases in Azure cloud-hosted data platforms used for cloud migration initiatives. The Application Software Developer will: Gather and analyze business and technical requirements, and translate them into database architecture, migration design, and implementation specifications. Configure new client database installations using Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, and related cloud services. Assist application developers with data transformation, database integration, backup and recovery procedures, and secure data access controls. Perform SQL performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and efficient database operations. Design, develop, and administer migration scripts for production, testing, staging, and disaster recovery environments. Qualifications: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or Information Systems, or a closely related field. Minimum 2 years of professional experience in database administration, data migration work, Azure cloud platforms, and SQL database environments. Experience with Azure Data Factory, data pipelines, reporting services, and cloud migration frameworks. Knowledge of secure database access, production support, change management, and disaster recovery practices.
