About the role
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THIS LINK - https://app.turbohire.co/get/Q1lsQ2V Build internal & client-facing apps, automations and data tools for a design & build studio About us IWA is a boutique interior design and build studio with offices in Delhi and Chennai. We run real projects end-to-end clients, sites, suppliers, orders, installations and we've built up a large amount of data along the way, both client-facing and internal. We're now investing in the software layer that ties it all together: internal tools, external facing client apps, automations and dashboards that let a lean team do much more. We want a sharp, hungry engineer to help us build it and keep improving it. Remote, full-time, working directly with the two directors. What this role is (and isn't) This is an engineering role, not a "vibe-coding" role. You have real fundamentals front end, back end, databases, APIs, deployment — and you're genuinely fast with modern AI-assisted tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub/Microsoft Copilot) as well as coding and programming where needed . We want someone who can take a problem from the directors and turn it into a deployed, reliable product — moving fast, but understanding what they're shipping. We work heavily in the Microsoft ecosystem, so you should be comfortable there, but you don't need to be Microsoft-only — good judgment about the right tool for the job matters more. What you'll do Build & ship Build internal and client-facing apps end-to-end (front + back end, database, deployment) for daily use — desktop and on-site via mobile Move fast and iterate: prototype, stand up multiple versions, test with the team, refine Build automation flows (n8n, webhooks, APIs) — enquiry intake, approvals, order/delivery-status notifications, client touchpoints, internal handoffs Think & solution (and grow into) Work with the directors to understand a problem and figure out the right solution before building — what to build, buy, or automate Build with the basics right: sensible data models, security, and structure, so things stay maintainable as we grow Look at existing code and AI-generated builds, spot what's wrong, and fix it — you'll grow this into real architecture ownership over time What we're looking for ~1–3 years building and shipping real software (what you've actually shipped matters more than exact years) Solid full-stack fundamentals: front end, back end, a database, APIs, and actually deploying to production Genuine fluency with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) — you use them to go fast and you understand the code they produce Comfort in the Microsoft ecosystem, or the ability to get comfortable fast Some experience with automations/integrations (n8n or similar) and pulling data together across systems A strong communicator in English who can work directly with founders Hungry, self-driven, and genuinely excited to own things and grow fast Bonus points Experience in interiors, architecture, construction, real estate, or another project-based business Power Platform / SharePoint / Power BI exposure Side projects or things you've shipped for real users To apply, please include Two or three projects you've actually deployed Your tools/stack, years of experience, availability/notice period, and salary expectation.
