AI Test Automation Architect (Gurugram)

Role Overview An AI Test Automation Architect is responsible for designing, building, and scaling intelligent test automation solutions using AI and machine learning techniques. This role combines deep expertise in software testing, automation frameworks, and AI technologies to improve test coverage, efficiency, and quality across the software development lifecycle. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities 1. Test Automation Strategy & - Architecture - Design scalable, robust, and reusable automation frameworks. Evaluate and select appropriate AI-driven testing tools and platforms. - AI-Driven Testing Implementation - AI Tools: GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Playwright MCP - Implement self-healing test scripts and predictive analytics. - Build solutions for: o Test case generation o Test data generation o Defect prediction 3. Framework & - Tool Development - Create and maintain custom automation frameworks (UI, API, performance, mobile). - Integrate testing frameworks with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). - Ensure frameworks support scalability, maintainability, and reusability. 4. Quality Engineering Leadership - Define test standards, best practices, and governance. - Guide teams in adopting shift-left and shift-right testing approaches. - Collaborate with DevOps, developers, and product teams. 5. AI/ML Model Integration - Work with data scientists to integrate AI models into testing pipelines. - Evaluate model performance, accuracy, and reliability in testing scenarios. Use AI to: o Prioritize test cases o Detect anomalies o Optimize test execution 6. Continuous Improvement - Analyze test results and metrics to improve test strategies. - Implement automation for: o Regression testing o Performance testing o Security testing - Research emerging AI testing trends and tools. ________________________________________ Required Skills & - Qualifications Technical Skills - Solid experience in test automation tools: o Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium - Programming languages: o JavaScript, TypeScript (preferred for AI/automation work) - Familiarity with GenAI tools (e.g., GPT-based automation) - API testing tools: RestAssured, Postman, Karate - CI/CD tools and DevOps practices - Experience with cloud platforms: o AWS, Azure, or GCP Testing Expertise - Strong knowledge of: o Functional, regression, API, performance, and security testing - Experience with BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow) AI-Specific Skills AI Tools: GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Playwright MCP ________________________________________ Soft Skills - Strategic thinking and solution design - Leadership and mentoring capabilities - Strong communication and stakeholder management - Problem-solving and analytical thinking ________________________________________ Education & - Experience - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - 815+ years in QA/Test Automation - 35+ years working with AI Tools: GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Playwright MCP ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications Experience with AI-powered testing tools (e.g., Test.ai, Functionize, Mabl, Applitools) - Knowledge of Shift-Left Quality Engineering - Experience implementing self-healing automation frameworks Certifications: o ISTQB Advanced/Expert .
