About the role
DevOps Principles:Understanding and implementing DevOps principles to enhance collaboration between development and operations teams and automate the software development lifecycle. Python Proficiency:Strong programming skills in Python to develop automation scripts, tools, and applications for various DevOps tasks. Scripting and Automation:Writing Python scripts and automation code to streamline processes, such as provisioning infrastructure, configuring servers, and deploying applications. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):Using IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation to define and provision infrastructure resources programmatically. Containerization:Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes. Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):Setting up CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deploying applications. Configuration Management:Using tools like Ansible or Puppet for configuring and managing servers and infrastructure. Version Control:Proficiency with version control systems like Git for managing code and infrastructure configurations. Cloud Services:Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying and managing cloud-based applications. Monitoring and Logging:Implementing monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana) to track application and infrastructure health.
