Jr Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer at Intuitive, you will play a crucial role in shaping the data ecosystem by designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouses and structures. Your responsibilities will include: - Data Warehousing: Design, develop, and maintain data warehouses to facilitate efficient data processing, storage, and retrieval. Experience with Snowflake DW is preferred, but familiarity with other tools like SQL Server, Oracle, or SAP HANA will also be considered. - SQL Programming: Proficiently create, debug, and optimize stored procedures, functions, and views to ensure data accuracy and availability. - Python: Utilize Python for scripting and automation tasks to enhance data workflows and processes. - Data Quality Assurance: Validate and cleanse data, identify and resolve anomalies, and implement data quality checks to ensure data integrity. - Collaborative Spirit: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights. Qualifications for this role include: - Minimum Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering or related roles. - Strong expertise in data warehousing concepts and practices. - Proficiency in SQL programming, including creating and debugging stored procedures, functions, and views. - Experience with Python for scripting and automation tasks. - Self-motivated with a willingness to take ownership of projects. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration. - Enthusiastic about learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
