Network Security Engineer United States | 2025-08-21 Job Description Location: Middletown, NJ Job description: We are seeking a driven Network Automation & Security Engineer to lead automation initiatives, streamline operational processes, and ensure consistent standards across lab environments. This role requires strong communication skills, hands-on experience with network security technologies, and the ability to work confidently in high-stakes, fast-paced environments. Responsibilities: Collaborate with developers to drive automation efforts and streamline workflows. Communicate technical requirements clearly and efficiently to cross-functional teams. Serve as a firm yet approachable point of contact, ensuring alignment with project goals and standards. Work with Palo Alto, F5, and related network security technologies to support automation initiatives. Design, develop, and implement automated reporting and compliance dashboards to track performance and adherence to standards. Engage with stakeholders to reinforce the organization, ensuring other labs follow established best practices. Optionally leverage Palantir capabilities to enhance data integration, analytics, and reporting. Requirements: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively. Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, F5, and similar networking or security technologies. Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks, including development of automated report cards or dashboards. Ability to provide constructive feedback and make firm, well-reasoned decisions when required. Experience working in high-stakes environments where leadership, clarity, and accountability are critical. Working knowledge of Palantir is a plus, but not mandatory.
