Associate Specialist, Data Science

Role Overview: At our company, we are seeking a dynamic individual to serve in the role of Associate Specialist/Analyst - Data Science. You will have the opportunity to work with partners in different Therapeutic and Domain areas across the organization to create scalable analytics solutions. Specifically, you will work in one of the three therapeutic areas of Brand Strategy and Performance Analytics Oncology/Vaccines/Pharma & Rare Disease. Your role will involve leveraging statistical and machine learning expertise to address critical business challenges and derive insights to drive key decisions. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the business requirements and translate them into analytical problem statements - Implement solution steps through SQL/Python and appropriate ML techniques independently - Follow technical requirements and industry best practices in every task - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions meeting business requirements - Present findings to US DS stakeholders clearly and concisely, addressing feedback - Maintain a continuous learning mindset, focusing on integrating enterprise value into team culture - Develop deep expertise in the therapeutic area with a clear focus on commercial aspects Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree with at least 0-3 years of industry experience (experience requirement can be waived off for exceptional candidates) - Strong skills in Python/R, SQL, and Excel - Strong foundations in statistics and machine learning Additional Company Details: Our Human Health Division at our company maintains a patient first, profits later ideology.
