About the role
As an HRIS Analyst II at Syneos Health, your role is crucial in supporting Workday HCM functionality, ensuring data integrity, generating reports, and enhancing system capabilities. You will collaborate with HR and IT teams to identify improvement opportunities and deliver a seamless HR technology experience. Additionally, you may provide guidance to junior analysts on complex tasks and projects. Key Responsibilities: - Provide day-to-day support for various Workday HCM modules such as Core HCM, Absence, Compensation, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Talent. - Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday Business Processes (BPs) including condition rules, routing, approvals, and step configurations. - Collaborate with HR stakeholders to assess BP effectiveness and propose enhancements for a better employee and manager experience. - Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of Workday enhancements, releases, and new functionalities. - Assist in integrating Workday with other platforms like time tracking, benefits, payroll, and identity systems. - Work cross-functionally to gather requirements, document functional specifications, and implement system changes. - Ensure data accuracy and compliance by monitoring data integrity through regular audits and partnering with HR teams. - Act as a subject matter expert on Workday, providing support, training, and proactively identifying system enhancements. - Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by developing test plans, cases, and documenting results. - Stay updated on Workday semi-annual releases, review release notes, assess impacts, and coordinate testing and rollout. Qualification Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience. - 2-4 years of experience supporting Workday HCM, preferably in a multi-module environment. - Proficiency in Workday reporting, calculated fields, HR processes, and practices. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate business needs into technical solutions. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively. - Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with project work is a plus. - Self-motivated, proactive mindset with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
