QA Automation Engineer

Role: QA automation Engineer Location: Alpharetta, GA - hybrid Experience: 10+ years Client: Cognizant/Morgan Stanley Job Description: We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Java and Selenium to support testing efforts for enterprise-scale financial applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with development and business teams to ensure high-quality, reliable software delivery. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to understand requirements Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA Execute test cases and analyze test results Support CI/CD pipelines and test automation execution Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in QA / Test Automation Strong hands-on experience with Java, Selenium WebDriver Experience with test frameworks like TestNG or JUnit Knowledge of API testing (REST, Postman, etc.) Experience using JIRA or similar defect tracking tools Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies Strong communication and collaboration skills
