IT Lead

Job Title: IT Lead Location: Srinagar, JK, India Job Summary: iQuasar is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Lead to lead our IT department. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong technical background and a proven ability to manage IT infrastructure, security, and projects effectively. This role requires a deep understanding of endpoint security, data security, cloud infrastructure, and IT project management, as well as excellent communication skills. Responsibilities: Strong knowledge of switches, routers, and modems, including the ability to set up, configure, and upgrade firmware. Hands-on experience with endpoint security (XDR). Network monitoring, including configuration settings, modification and removal of sensors, reviewing logs, publishing gap reports, and suggesting possible solutions. Oversee daily IT operations to ensure systems and networks are secure and compliant. Identify and recommend IT security measures to protect the organization s data and systems from threats. Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance organizational performance. Implement and manage endpoint security solutions, including Windows Defender, Intune Management, firewall management, and VPN. Maintain familiarity with network security tools and best practices. Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across platforms like Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Maintain and administer web servers, such as Liquid Web and SiteGround. Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures. Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in an IT lead role. Deep knowledge of endpoint security solutions: Windows Defender, Intune Management, firewall management, VPN, and network security tools. Fair understanding of ISO 27001:2022 standards. Strong understanding of data security principles and best practices. Experience managing cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure). Experience with web servers (Liquid Web, SiteGround, or similar). Proficiency in Azure Entra ID administration. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Required Certifications: CCNP CompTIA Network+ Preferred Certifications: Cloud administration certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) ITIL V4 Foundation Microsoft 365 certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Security Administrator Associate)
