Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Lead Engineer Location: Hyderabad, Telangana Experience: 712 Years Qualification: B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Lead Engineer with strong expertise in Electrical Harness Design, CATIA V5, ENOVIA, and 3D routing . The candidate will be responsible for leading electrical harness design activities, supporting project deliveries, ensuring design quality, and providing technical guidance to the team . Key Responsibilities Lead and execute electrical harness design activities as per project requirements. Perform electrical harness routing using CATIA V5 EHI and EFI with ENOVIA PLM . Handle subsystem-level and car-level electrical harness modelling. Interpret electrical schematics and apply them during harness routing. Lead design and verification reviews and prepare related reports. Perform internal quality checks and ensure accuracy and consistency of deliverables. Provide technical leadership and guide team members. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and customers. Support manufacturing requirements, dimensional stack-ups, and design validation. Analyze manufacturing non-conformities and develop suitable backup solutions. Contribute to Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and project improvement activities. Maintain process-related and applicable technical documentation. Required Technical Skills Strong experience in Electrical Harness Design and 3D Routing . Hands-on expertise in CATIA V5 and ENOVIA . Experience in: Electrical Harness Routing (EHI) Electrical Fitting Installation (EFI) 3D Functional Tolerance Analysis (3D FTA) Wire bundle calculations Selection of protection, connectors, conduits, and electrical components Strong knowledge of sheet metal component design , material selection, and thickness selection. Good understanding of electrical schematics. Knowledge of materials and mechanical characteristics. Experience in weight assessment of assemblies, aggregates, and installations. Knowledge of fasteners, joint design, and basic calculations for screwed assemblies. Understanding of drawing rules and GD&T . Knowledge of relevant standards such as ASME, DIN, EN, ISO, MIL, SAE, and DO . Experience with CAD tools and PLM platforms for creating and validating 3D and 2D designs. Knowledge of mounting definitions for subsystems considering boundary conditions and failure opportunities.
