Designation- Embedded Linux Software Engineer (Automotive) Experience Level: 2--5 Years Role Type: Individual Contributor Location: Pune / Bangalore / Hyderabad Position Summary We are looking for an Embedded Linux Software Engineer to develop software for high-compute automotive domains --- Infotainment, Digital Cockpit, ADAS Perception, Autonomous Driving, and Vehicle Central Compute. These domains need high compute, graphics, AI, networking, containers, large memory, and middleware, and are commonly built on Embedded Linux, Yocto, Android Automotive, Automotive Grade Linux, Ubuntu, Red Hat In-Vehicle OS, AUTOSAR Adaptive, QNX, or ROS2. Key Responsibilities Develop and debug Linux platform or application software for high-compute automotive domains. Work with Yocto/Buildroot-based BSP, board bring-up, and boot flow. Integrate middleware, containers, or service frameworks (e.g., AUTOSAR Adaptive, ROS2) as applicable to the assigned domain. Support graphics, multimedia, AI/ML pipeline, or networking stack integration depending on the domain. Debug performance, memory, and stability issues on multi-core/high-compute SoCs. Support OTA update and connectivity feature integration where relevant. Collaborate with hardware, AI/ML, and systems teams. Required Technical Skills Strong C/C++ programming with embedded Linux fundamentals. Hands-on experience with at least one of: Embedded Linux, Yocto, Android Automotive, Automotive Grade Linux (AGL), Ubuntu, Red Hat In-Vehicle OS, AUTOSAR Adaptive, QNX, ROS2 (Autonomous). BSP/device driver understanding and cross-compilation workflows. Git, CI/CD, and scripting (Python/Bash). Basic understanding of containers, networking, and high-compute SoC architecture.
