About the role
Structural Design: Design and analyze structural systems for buildings, bridges, or other infrastructure projects Ensure designs meet safety standards, building codes, and project requirements Structural Analysis: Perform advanced structural analysis using engineering software and methodologies to determine the stability and load-bearing capacity of structures Project Management: Lead structural engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior engineers and drafters in the structural engineering team Site Inspections: Conduct site visits to assess construction progress, identify structural issues, and provide solutions to address any problems Quality Assurance: Ensure that structural designs and construction meet quality and safety standards Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with building codes, standards, and regulations to ensure that structures are in compliance Materials Selection: Select appropriate materials for construction, considering factors like strength, durability, and cost
