Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer Work Location: Turbhe, Navi Mumbai (Work from office) Job Type: Contract role of 1 year (Subject to extension based on business needs) Experience: 2+ years Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated QA Engineer to join our MSME product team at IRIS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end quality across web and mobile platforms, setting up automation frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver stable, high-quality product releases. Youll be working closely with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to design and implement robust testing pipelines and contribute to building an AI-powered quality ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: 1. Automation Framework Development Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript) and Selenium (Java). Develop Page Object Models (POM) and reusable automation components for scalable test coverage. Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Azure / Jenkins / GitHub) for continuous validation. Implement AI-assisted automation using tools like GitHub Copilot or equivalent prompt-based test generation system. Capture and log test artifacts (DOM snapshots, screenshots, and reports) for debugging and traceability. 2. Testing Strategy & Execution Define and execute comprehensive manual and automation testing strategies for MSME products and APIs. Conduct API automation testing using Postman and Rest Assured; ensure test integration within release cycles. Perform functional, regression, and UAT testing for every sprint and release. Ensure testing coverage across AI/NLP-based modules, background processes, and data-intensive integrations. 3. Quality Governance & Release Management Partner with developers and product managers to establish release gates and QA benchmarks. Manage test planning, documentation, and reporting using ClickUp, JIRA, or equivalent tools. Drive and monitor bug triage processes, ensuring timely identification, prioritization, and resolution of issues. Reduce production leakage rates and improve post-release stability metrics. 4. Collaboration & Leadership Work closely with cross-functional QA, development, and business teams (India & Global). Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to building team-wide testing standards. Present test insights, automation coverage reports, and release impact metrics to leadership. Technical Skills: Automation Tools: Playwright (JavaScript), Selenium (Java) API Testing: Postman, Rest Assured CI/CD & Version Control: Azure, Jenkins, GitHub Test Management: ClickUp, JIRA, Notion Programming Languages: Java, JavaScript Frameworks: TestNG, Maven, Page Object Model (POM) AI Productivity Tools: GitHub Copilot, MCP Agents (or equivalent AI coding assistants) Key Outcomes: Achieve >90% automation coverage for critical user flows. Reduce bug leakage to <10% post-release. Improve test execution productivity by 2530% through automation and AI tooling. Contribute to measurable gains in release velocity and platform stability. Preferred Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2+ years of experience in manual and automation QA roles for SaaS or AI-driven products.
