As a Senior Engineer - QE at IRIS Software Inc, you will play a crucial role in the automation engineering process. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing scalable UI & API automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript and PostgreSQL - Creating robust, maintainable, and reusable test scripts for web applications - Implementing cross-browser testing strategies and CI/CD integration - Ensuring high reliability and performance of automated test suites - Collaborating with product and engineering teams to define test strategy - Performing API, UI, and integration testing - Driving shift-left testing practices - Conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to automation standards Additionally, you will be involved in AI-Driven Testing by: - Integrating AI tools to enable self-healing test scripts, automate test case generation, and improve test coverage analysis - Utilizing AI/LLMs such as GitHub Copilot for test design acceleration, root cause analysis, and intelligent debugging In terms of Framework & Tooling, you will be responsible for: - Building and maintaining automation frameworks using Playwright Test Runner and TypeScript best practices - Implementing reporting and dashboards (Allure, HTML reports, etc.) - Integrating with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins Qualifications Required: - 6 to 8 years of experience in automation engineering - Proficiency in Playwright, Typescript/Python/Java, and domain experience in wealth management/trading/portfolio management - Familiarity with AI technologies like Gen AI Please note that Wealth Management knowledge will be preferred for this role.
